CIIC was established in June 1994 as a provider of investment, corporate finance and economic advisory services. It is substantially capitalized with paid in capital of LE 550 million.

The remainder of the share register is distributed between a number of prominent Egyptian investors. Only one of these latter holdings exceeds 5%.
